DreamStore Privacy Policy

DreamStore holds things you write down yourself, so this page lists exactly what we receive and where it goes, item by item. If it is not listed below, we do not collect it.

Leaving your device counts as collection. Even something you typed yourself becomes collected data once it reaches our servers. Values that stay on the device and never leave it (display preferences, your last chosen language) are therefore not in the table below. Those disappear when you uninstall the app.

This policy applies to the DreamStore app published by the developer Zucchini. The developer name and contact above are the ones registered on Google Play.

1. What we collect and where it is stored

2. Sensitive categories, called out separately

Health and asset entries are more sensitive than the rest, so here is precisely what they are.

Health: blood glucose readings and meals, stored only when you type them in. We do not read step counts, heart rate, or anything else from device sensors or other health apps.
Assets: a place to record holdings and your reasoning. It is not connected to any brokerage. We do not pull balances or transaction history. This feature is hidden by default and must be switched on in settings.

If you never use either feature, no such data exists.

3. Voice is converted to text off the device

Stating this precisely. When you add a task or log a meal by speaking, the audio is handed to the operating system's speech recognition. That is Google on Android and Apple on iOS, and it does not stay on the device.

DreamStore receives only the resulting text. We neither store the audio nor send it to our own servers.
Processing of the audio itself is governed by Google's or Apple's privacy policy.
Deny the microphone permission and only this feature stops working; everything else is unaffected.

4. What the AI features receive

Encouragement messages and meal analysis are generated by sending a request to an AI model (Anthropic). We send only what that feature needs.

Encouragement: task name, goal name, a snippet of your note, intensity setting
Meal analysis: the food names you typed

Your name and email are not sent, and neither are photos or videos. Nothing is sent if you do not use these features.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not pass it to third parties for ad targeting beyond the purposes above.

6. Retention and deletion

Entries are kept until you delete them. Nothing is auto-deleted on a timer.
Deleting a photo or video marks it immediately, and a daily cleanup job removes it from storage once seven days have passed. The seven days exist so an accidental deletion can still be recovered.
Closing your account deletes the account and the entries attached to it.
Where law requires retention, we follow that period.

7. Your rights

Access and correction: everything is visible and editable inside the app.
Deletion: individual entries can be deleted in the app.
Account closure: Settings, then Account.
Withdrawing permissions: microphone, camera, and notification permissions can be revoked in your device settings at any time. Only that feature stops; the rest keeps working.

8. Safeguards

Entries are stored under your own account, and server rules prevent any other user from reading them.
Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted over HTTPS.
Shared dreams are visible to another person only when you invited them yourself.

9. Children

DreamStore is not directed at children under 14, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If we learn that we have, we delete it without delay.
