Deleting a single entry happens inside the app. To remove your account and all of your data, send the request below.
1. Deleting a single entry
Tap the entry in the list and choose Delete. After one confirmation it is gone immediately.
To remove an entire ledger, its owner chooses Delete ledger. The entries, the nags and the invite code go with it.
2. Deleting your account and all data
You can do this inside the app. Tap your profile at the top right and choose 탈퇴하기 (Delete account) at the bottom.
It first shows you what will go (ledgers you own, ledgers you will leave, how many friendships end), then asks once more before deleting.
Ledgers you own disappear entirely.
Their entries and nags are removed for everyone who shared them.
To keep one, hand ownership to another member before you delete your account.
If you cannot do it in the app (you uninstalled it, or you cannot sign in), email us at the address below.
Include the Google account email you signed in with. We need it to confirm it is you. Nothing else is required.
If you used the app without signing in there is no email to verify against.
In that case uninstalling the app makes the account unreachable.
To have the server-side records removed as well, include the display name and friend code shown in your profile.
Every entry in your personal ledger (expenses and income)
Every nag you wrote
Your friend list and friend requests
Your name in the member list of shared ledgers, and your push tokens
Ledgers you own, including their entries and nags
Join requests and friend requests you sent
4. What stays
Entries and nags written by other people stay. They belong to those people and we cannot remove them on your behalf.
If a ledger you own still has other members, we keep the ledger and only clear the ownership, unless you ask otherwise.
Abuse reports stay. A report names both the reporter and the reported person, so letting either side delete it would make reporting useless.
Neither party can read or delete one, and we use them for nothing but handling harassment.
Aggregated usage statistics (Firebase Analytics) and crash reports may remain in a form that does not identify you.
5. How long it takes
We delete within 30 days of the request and confirm by email. It usually takes a few days.
6. Backups
Operational backups may hold the data for up to 90 days. After that it is gone from the backups too,
and nothing is restored from them in the meantime.
